MAPS GEOSPATIAL AR
This Google Maps pilot was the first use of Geospatial AR in a 1P app, overlaying digital information and 3D models onto the real world as viewed through your phone's camera (onsite) or through Street View (remote). This pilot seeded the field for a Spatial XR ecosystem, debuting to billions of users for the 2024 Olympics.

Crafting Delight in the Real World
As the Geospatial AR Design Lead, I owned the end-to-end design, developing a vision and strategy to turn a raw technology (VPS and Geospatial APIs) into a product that empowered creators to connect with audiences in a brand new way. My approach combined high-level strategic influence across multiple PAs, Companies, and content partners with hands-on execution (app design + content creation) and a deep commitment to user research-based iteration.
Shipped 38 AR experiences across Paris & Singapore in partnership with Google Arts & Culture and the Singapore Tourism Board.

Built cross-functional strategy for a spatial content ecosystem across 1P apps for XR devices, beginning with mobile.
Created vision videos and product concepts to drive alignment and run UXR surveys and studies.
High visibility Maps place sheets and/or flexible URL entry points, with a distance check to dynamically load the onsite or remote experience, provided easy discovery that just worked.

Stepped in to designed and build the Versailles experience with Google Arts & Culture and the Palais du Versailles.
