Pioneering the Voice-First Future on Pixel Buds
I authored the foundational UX specification for the Assistant experience that became the de-facto design manual for all subsequent Google hearables, introducing novel interactions and co-designing the complex out-of-box experience. To ensure product excellence, I traveled to Taiwan to personally oversee engineering implementation and actively blocked a launch to drive fixes for critical role-switching bugs.
Pixel buds which were favorably received by consumers and press, with the Assistant being called out as a key feature that differentiated these buds from the rest of the market

Drove cross-functional alignment on core hardware gestures and mapped precise interaction choreographies to guarantee an intuitive user experience.
